Territorial Defence Forces train civilian recruits in Kiev

Civilians hold rifles during Territorial Defence Force exercise while being trained in combat tactics by military servicemen as Ukrainian government wants to expand Territorial Defence Force Units to protect the country in case of military conflict with Russia. Territorial Defence Force is a body of reservists with basic combat skills. Women take about 20% of organisation's volunteers. Every week hundreds of civilians are being trained in Kiev as Ministry of Defence of Ukraine plans to create a greater and more permanent units of Territorial Defence Forces. The training also takes place in other major cities of Ukraine
