Traditional games kick off in district Haripur, Pakistan

Pakistanis take part in traditional bull and dog races held on the outskirts of Haripur, Pakistan, Saturday, June 18, 2022. During the bull race, bulls run in a pair, yoked together with heavy wooden frames called "joots," - the jockey rides behind on a metal or wooden tray attached to the yoke by a rope. Bull race, dog rabbit race as well as horse dance, gatka, stone lifting, traditional javelin throwing competitions were also part of the traditional games being played.
