A water bombing helicopter in operation on a major forest fire in the commune of Romeyer

A water bomber helicopter is mobilized on a major forest fire that broke out near the town of Romeyer in the Diois massif located in the Drôme department and at the foot of the Vercors massif. In spite of important means deployed, 3 helicopters and 1 Dash plane equipped with retardant, after several days of fight, the fire has grown this August 9, 2022 devouring more than 225 hectares of forest and getting closer to some houses.
