Fallen serviceman funeral in Lviv, Ukraine

Crowds attend a funeral of a serviceman, killed by the Russian army in Saint Peter and Paul Cathedral in the old town of Lviv., Ukraine on August 24, 2022. Senior Lieutenant Mykhailo Gamkalo, was also associate professor of the Department of Tourism of Lviv University. The city of Lviv selected a separate slot of land in the cemetery for the soldiers fallen in the fight with Russia, the soldiers are highly regarded as national heroes. Ukrainians celebrate Independence Day, as well as mark 6 month of war with Russia on August 24.
