Ukrainian children begin the school year in Odessa

Children enter a bomb shelter to receive a training on how to behave during the siren alarm as they attend the opening day of school year in a famous Black Sea resort of Odessa, Ukraine on September 1, 2022. Children get back to school as the country surpasses 6 months after the Russian invasion. Only those schools that have save bomb shelters will open. Only a small percentage of children in the Odessa region physically get back to school, most of the children will continue to learn online.
