Indian Railway Steam engine display during the exhibition In Ajmer, Rajasthan, India on 14 November 2022. Live demonstration of steam engine built in 1873, The locomotive kept for live demo in the exhibition is the first imported Meter Gauge shunting engine in India for shunting in the year 1873. This loco engine was also used in the construction work of "Lower Ganga Canal". It was handed over to the Rajputana State Railway by the Indian State Railway in 1879. In 1885, it became the property of the Loco Carriage and Wagon Department Ajmer. This loco engine done the work of shunting for about 100 years.
