U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink takes part at opening of a sculpture in Borodyanka on the anniversary of the de-occupation of Kyiv region

Local residents take part at opening of a sculpture called 'A girl under the sun' installed for the first anniversary of the retreat of Russian forces from Kyiv region, in Borodyanka, Ukraine 2 April 2023. The sculpture was created by the Ukrainian sculptor Yevhen Prymachenko and depict a child's silhouette flying up to the sky under the sun's rays against the background of high-rise buildings destroyed by a Russian aerial bomb. Borodyanka is one of the most affected town in Kyiv region during the war.
