March in support of John Paul II legacy in Poland

Thousands of people participate in a White Papal March in the centre of Krakow, Poland on the anniversary of John Paul II death on April 2 as a debate around pedophilia in catholic church rises tension in Polish society. After a publication of Ekke Overbeek book “Maxima Culpa: John Paul II Knew”, which describes how the former Polish pope turned a blind eye on pedophilia within the church structure, Polish society divided. Many faithful feel the need to defend the good name of the Polish Saint, John Paul II, while more secular Poles demand transparent and immediate investigation.
