Following Friday of Eid u Milad observed in Kashmir

Muslim devotees are raising their hands in prayer upon seeing the holy relic at the Hazratbal Shrine. They are gathering at the Hazratbal Shrine in the summer capital, Srinagar, which houses a relic believed to be a hair from the beard of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. They are offering special prayers on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
