Following Friday of Eid u Milad observed in Kashmir

Muslim devotees are raising their hands in prayer upon seeing the holy relic at the Hazratbal Shrine. A gathering of Muslim devotees is taking place at the Hazratbal Shrine in the summer capital, Srinagar, which is home to a relic believed to be a hair from the beard of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. They are offering special prayers on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
