SOUNDBITE (English) Greta Thunberg: "My name is Greta Thunberg, I am 15 years old and I come from Sweden. I had come here to, because I got invitation and I thought: this is a life time opportunity. This is basically the last chance to world has to take action. If we don't do anything now we might be screwed, chance my be over." Greta Thunberg travelled to Katowice in Poland for the start of the two-week talks and delivered a speech on Monday, 3 December 2018 to some of the decision-makers at the COP-24, UN climate summit. Thunberg inspired a global youth movement demanding stronger efforts to fight climate change after staging weekly protests outside the Swedish Parliament starting in 2018.
