Forest officials providing treatment and food to the injured wild elephants in India

Indian forest officials are seen filling bananas with medicine to treat an injured wild elephant, which, according to the officials, sustained injuries from a fight with another elephant in Ahutoli village, located within the Kondali Forest Reserve in Nagaon district, Assam. This northeastern state of India witnessed the intervention on November 1, 2023. The Forest Department has been providing treatment and sustenance to the injured elephant for the past two days.
