US Ambassador to Ukraine hands over heavy machinery in Kyiv, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine

US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink speaks during a hand over ceremony of heavy machinery to representatives of frontline areas military administrations in Kyiv, Ukraine 14 November 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. United States hand over heavy machinery, including backhoe loaders and crawler excavators to southern and eastern regions of Ukraine, to eliminate the consequences of air and artillery shelling by clearing rubble and helping the front-line villages and cities. The machinery will also support repairs and maintenance of infrastructure facilities and restoration of the destroyed buildings. This support is part of the significant USAID assistance to Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction efforts. The United States Government is committed to supporting Ukraine’s front-line communities to recover, resist Russian invasion and aid Ukraine’s economic recovery.
