Marine Tondelier's statements after the meeting with Macron

TRANSCRIPTION: In addition to all the proposals we've been making for weeks on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in terms of a ceasefire, sanctions against Israel, the release of hostages and, of course, the protection of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, the ecologists also put forward a proposal, that France should request the entry of investigators from the International Criminal Court into Gaza, because we believe that this is the only solution today to be able to investigate impartially, neutrally, independently and legitimately the crimes that are being committed, possibly crimes against humanity, in Gaza, where Israeli civilian hostages are being held and more than 10 Palestinian civilians are being killed. 000, including 5,000 children, and this is intolerable. And so this is a strong proposal that we have made, to which the President of the Republic has been receptive. Of course, this doesn't replace the humanitarian emergency. Obviously, we're not at the stage where we're going to judge things, but the collection of evidence, the pressure, because people would see what's going on. Today, we have virtually no communication with this area, so it's very complicated. We think it's essential to do this. And Emmanuel Macron has pledged to look into it. We launched a petition on the subject this afternoon, which has already gathered over 5,000 signatures, and is on the Les écologistes.fr website. And so we're going to try to mobilize, to relay this petition, and we'll be at tomorrow's demonstration starting from Place de la République to also try to bring forward this proposal, which in no way detracts from everything we've been doing for weeks on this subject, but which seems to us to be a new element that we've put on the table and which received support at the meeting.
