Schaibling Tower in Passau

The round tower, marked with its pointed roof, is currently dominating the view over the Innkai. Known as the "Schaiblingsturm", it is a popular spot for photography and has served several functions over the centuries. At present, it belongs to the Leopoldinum secondary school and is being used for workshops only a few times a year. In its early days, the Schaiblingsturm was being used as a defensive tower, storage tower, and mooring point.
