In November, the euro area experienced a decrease in annual inflation to 2.4%, a drop from the previous month's 2.9%, according to Eurostat's initial report published on Thursday. The most significant inflation rates were observed in the categories of food, alcohol, and tobacco, which saw a decrease to 6.9% from October's 7.4%. Services followed with a 4.0% rate, and non-energy industrial goods were at 2.9%. Notably, energy prices witnessed a substantial decline, falling to -11.5%.
