A former member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party is submitting her candidacy application forms for the upcoming general elections in Peshawar, Pakistan, on December 23, 2023. The electoral process in Pakistan is currently underway as the Election Commission is beginning to receive nomination papers for the general elections scheduled for February 8, 2024. With over 128.5 million registered voters, candidates from 175 political and religious parties are vying for 266 National Assembly seats and 593 Provincial Assembly seats.
