Fatehpur Sikri, established in 1569 by Mughal Emperor Akbar, functioned as the Mughal Empire's capital from 1571 to 1585. The Jodha Bai Mahal, also known as Jodh Bai Mahal, is the largest palace in Fatehpur Sikri. It was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569 for his favorite queen consort, Mariam-uz-Zamani, commonly known as Jodha Bai. The palace is a remarkable blend of Hindu and Persian architecture, constructed with red sandstone.
