Rahul Gandhi, a leader of India's main opposition Congress party, is addressing his party's supporters during the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in Biswanath district, Assam, India, on January 21, 2024. The Yatra is set to travel through 100 Lok Sabha segments in 15 states and is scheduled to end in Mumbai on either March 20 or 21. Besides Manipur, the Yatra is covering four northeastern states: Nagaland (257 km in two days), Arunachal Pradesh (55 km in one day), Meghalaya (five km in one day), and Assam (833 km in eight days). The Yatra is then proceeding to West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
