Nation-wide strike of Polish farmers

In Poznan, Poland, on February 9, 2024, farmers from the Greater Poland region are riding their tractors and blocking Aleja Niepodleglosci road in the city center. They are staging this protest in front of the region's Marshal Office as part of the nationwide farmers' strike. This protest is a part of the larger European farmers' protest against the EU Green Deal regulations. The Polish farmers are also demanding a change to the EU agreement with Ukraine regarding the import of agricultural produce to the EU. The protest, organized by Rola Wielkopolska, has gathered over a thousand tractors, causing road blockages in the city.
