A national Class I protected animal and a globally endangered species of black langur at the Mayang River Nature Reserve in Tongren city, Guizhou province, China, Feb 20, 2024. At present, there are only about 2,000 langur monkeys in the world. There are 72 groups of about 763 black langur monkeys living in the Mayang River Nature Reserve, which is the most concentrated distribution of black langur species and the largest population in the world.
