Museum “The Shelter of the Lone Dosimetrist” in Dytyatky, Ukraine recreates the shelter of a dosimetrist - workers who measured the radiation in the area after the Chornobyl NPP explosion near Chernobyl, on June 18, 2019. The Chernobyl disaster was a catastrophic nuclear accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 at the No. 4 nuclear reactor in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, near the city of Pripyat in the north of the Ukrainian SSR. Chernobyl nuclear disaster is the worst disaster in the history of nuclear power generation.
