(FILE VIDEO) A total solar eclipse will occurr on April 8th, 2024. All citizens of North America will be able to admire the most anticipated astronomical event of the year. The event will indeed be visible to millions of people across Mexico, the United States, and Canada who live along the 'path of totality', the strip where the Moon will appear to completely cover the sun revealing the outer atmosphere of the star, called the corona. Those along the central line of the path will see an eclipse lasting between three and a half to four minutes. In other parts of the world where the eclipse will not be visible, people can take advantage of live streaming provided by the media. The video shows a partial solar eclipse that captured from L'Aquila, Italy, on October 15th, 2022.
