Unidentified male victim shot and killed in Chicago, Illinois

Unidentified male victim shot and killed in Chicago, Illinois, United States on June 8, 2024. At approximately 5:14 p.m., Saturday afternoon on the 6600 block of S. Rhodes Avenue, a male victim, John Doe, was near the sidewalk when he was struck in the chest by gunfire. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no suspects in custody. A large number of shell casings were located at the crime scene.
