A 44-year-old male victim is being shot multiple times and killed in broad daylight on the first weekend of summer at the Dearborn Homes Playground in Chicago, Illinois, on June 22, 2024. At approximately 10:40 a.m. on Saturday morning on the 2900 block of S. State Street at the Dearborn Homes Playground, a 44-year-old male is being shot multiple times by an unknown suspect(s). The victim is being taken to the hospital where he is being pronounced dead. No suspects are in custody and the investigation is ongoing. Several evidence markers are being placed at the crime scene.
