Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte Named New NATO Secretary General

The NATO Council announced on Wednesday that Mark Rutte, the current Dutch Prime Minister, will become the new Secretary General of NATO. Rutte is set to replace Jens Stoltenberg and will assume his new role on October 1. Mark Rutte the Prime Minister of the Netherlands does a doorstep statement to international and local media and press while the Dutch PM responds to questions from journalists focusing on his future NATO position, after the end of the Informal Leader's Meeting, a summit of the European Council.
