A forest official is patrolling on a highway during a flood inside the Burapahar range of the Kaziranga National Park in Nagaon District of Assam on July 1, 2024. According to the park authority, the floodwater is submerging 26 percent of the 233 forest camps at Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve areas. The authority is informing that 61 forest camps across Kaziranga National Park are being inundated by the floodwaters of the Brahmaputra river.
