Relatives and helpers are carrying the coffin of a victim of a remote-controlled explosive device planted on a bridge in Takhtbhai area, Mardan, Pakistan, on July 5, 2024. At least three people are being killed and seven injured in the remote-controlled explosion in the Takhtbhai area of Mardan. Superintendent of Police (SP) Khalid Khan is saying that 'unidentified terrorists' are responsible for planting the device near the Jalala bridge. The explosion is occurring as a police van is passing by, damaging the police vehicle and a rickshaw, claiming the lives of three rickshaw passengers and injuring seven others, including two police officers.
