Images of the pollutant spill that affects about 2 kilometers of beach in El Saler. The Valencia City Council has declared a red flag on the beaches of El Saler, Arbre del Gos, and Garrofera due to the spill. Once the Tragsa resources arrive, the beach will be closed to the public to allow for all cleaning tasks to be carried out. The Directorate of the Captaincy, Maritime Rescue resources --Salvamar Pollux and Helimer 211-- and the LS Tomás Marco of the Red Cross are working in the area to assess the extent of the spill and its possible origin. The Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat Valenciana has activated situation 0 of the Territorial Emergency Plan to monitor the spill.
