Forest officials are preparing to install a cage trap to capture a Royal Bengal tiger in Dhing, Assam, India, on July 27, 2024. It is suspected that the tiger is venturing out from Lawkhowa Burachapori Wildlife Sanctuary, possibly in search of food due to the situation created by recent floods in the area, said a forest official. A large number of animals are being affected by the floods, and the tiger must be coming out in search of food. Forest officials are keeping a watch on the tiger that is being spotted by the local people. Locals are saying that the tiger has been roaming in the area for a long time, unleashing terror.
