The Mossos shield the Parliament awaiting Puigdemont's arrival at the investiture session

Barcelona, Spain - August 8, 2024 - From early Thursday morning, the Mossos d'Esquadra have shielded the Parliament awaiting the return of former president Carles Puigdemont on the day of the investiture session. All accesses to the Ciutadella Park, where the Chamber is located, are closed except for the one closest to the França station, and inside the premises, there is a strong presence of Mossos d'Esquadra.
