Former Move Forward Party leader Pita Limjaroenrat is arriving at the Constitution Court in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 7, 2024. The Constitutional Court is ordering the dissolution of the Move Forward Party and is revoking the candidacy of the party's executive committee. The 1st and 2nd sets are holding office between March 25, 2021, and January 31, 2024, which is the period of the act that is causing the dissolution of a political party. The executive committee of the party is being prohibited from registering or participating in the establishment of a new political party for a period of 10 years from the date of the court's order to dissolve the party. A sign is reading "Opposition to the dissolution of the Move Forward Party." (The Constitutional Court on Wednesday is disbanding the Move Forward Party (MFP), saying it is guilty of jeopardizing the constitutional monarchy and national security, and is banning its executives for 10 years.)
