Massive protests erupt after three men gang-rape a minor girl in India's Assam

Locals are protesting against an alleged gang-rape of a 14-year-old girl by three men in Dhing area, in Nagaon district of Assam, India, on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024. Police and paramilitary forces are being deployed to enhance security measures during this period. It may be mentioned that a minor girl returning home from tuition is being raped in Dhing on Thursday. Meanwhile, two accused are being apprehended in connection to the incident.
