Crowds are gathering in a marketplace, on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi festival in Mumbai, India, on September 06, 2024. The Indian festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrating the birth of Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom and prosperity in Hindu mythology, who is also recognized as the god of new beginnings and the remover of obstacles. The ten-day festival is being celebrated across the country from 7th September till 17th September this year.
