People are visiting Pasan, the iconic building at the beginning of the Chao Phraya River, which is a new landmark of Pak Nam Pho. It is located in the area of Laem Koh Yom, the confluence point of the Ping River and the Nan River, which is the origin of the Chao Phraya River in Nakhon Sawan province, north of Bangkok, on September 30, 2024. The name "Pasan" comes from the word "Phasan," which means a combination, but "Pasan" is bringing people together to create a combination of people, places, and environments. The building is constructed on an area of about 4,800 square meters, designed to be curved and converge at the end, similar to the confluence of the four main rivers that gather to form two lines and become unified. During the flooding season, parts of the building that lift the curve are emerging from the water. Visitors are paddling through the buildings to admire the beauty of the architecture. In addition to being a viewpoint and recreation place, there is still an exhibition hall for history, culture, traditions, and the courtyard enshrining the Goddess of Mercy. Including light, color, and sound activities are representing the way people live with rivers from the past to the present. Tourists are taking a ferry to the Pasan side to see the sunset, experience the beauty of the Chao Phraya River, and the way of the riverside people's lifestyles of Pak Nam Pho, Nakhon Sawan province.
