Palestinians are surrounding the bodies of victims of an Israeli strike that targeted a mosque-turned-shelter in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, in the courtyard of the al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Gaza, on October 6, 2024, amid the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement. Gaza's civil defence agency is saying on October 6 that an Israeli strike on the mosque-turned-shelter in central Deir al-Balah is killing 21 people, while Israel's military is saying it is targeting Hamas militants.
