The Polish government meeting on the first anniversary of the parliamentary elections, after which the coalition government of Donald Tusk took power in Poland. Over 43 percent of Poles believe that a year after the elections, their lives are the same as under Law and Justice rule. At the same time, the majority of Poles are dissatisfied with the pace of fulfilling the government's election promises. SOUNDBITE: Donald Tusk, Polish Prime Minister (Polish): "It is a great satisfaction to be able to work with you for this year. We do not have time to celebrate. I apologize in advance that in a moment we will have to start our duties, just like every week as a council of ministers and every day as workers hired for this hard, very honorable work. But it seems to me that sometimes we argue, today it will probably be hot too, but I do not think I had to agree with any of you on this one word: "Thank you", we thank very much all those who sometimes stood long into the night to vote for a better Poland, for what is important and sacred to all of us. So we are all certainly aware here in this room that this is a great obligation, it is an honor and it is a set of certain duties. We are not the heroes of this day, but millions of Polish women and men, they gave us a chance and we cannot waste it. The year was not easy."
