Kashmiri Muslim devotees are gathering for blessings as the head priest is displaying a holy relic of the revered saint, Hazrat Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani, popularly known as Peer Dastageer, during the annual URS in Srinagar, Jammu And Kashmir, India, on October 15, 2024. Dastgeer Sahib is a 200-year-old shrine in Kashmir, associated with Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani. It houses a relic, Mouia Pāk (a strand of his hair), reportedly brought to Kashmir by a Kandahari merchant in 1806.
