Royal Bengal Tiger tranquilized in India's Assam

An adult female Royal Bengal tiger, tranquilized by a rescue team from a residential area at Kaliabor in Nagaon District of Assam , India on Nov 21 ,2024 . Local authorities have imposed emergency restrictions in parts of Koliabor following the confirmed sighting of a Royal Bengal Tiger that has wandered into residential areas on November 18. The tiger, which strayed from its habitat in the Kamakhya Reserve Forest, was spotted early Monday morning along the Kollong River between Debasatra Gaon and Miribheti Gaon, prompting immediate action from district officials.
