Civil Service Demonstration in Paris, France

Nearly 200,000 people demonstrated across France, according to the CGT (General Confederation of Labour) on a day of civil service strikes, despite the fall of the French government due to the vote on a motion of censure in the National Assembly. In Paris, around 3,000 people took part in the demonstration to demand more resources for the civil service and warn of the ‘deterioration’ in their ‘working conditions and pay’.
