A 25-year-old man, identified as Johanci Chapman, is being shot and killed at 837 Utica Avenue in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York, United States, on January 12, 2025. On Sunday afternoon, at approximately 12:55 PM, police are responding to 837 Utica Avenue and observing a 25-year-old man, identified as Johanci Chapman, with a gunshot wound to the arm. EMS is transporting the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he is being pronounced dead. There are no suspects in custody.
