People are cutting down a few old trees in the middle of the city to build concrete houses. Here, a woodcutter is risking his life by standing on an unstable bamboo pole tied to the tree and tying the tree to himself. He is starting to cut from the very top branches to the bottom branches of the tree with a sharp iron chopper. Finally, the main tree is being cut down from the base with a chainsaw cutter. Sometimes, he is feeling a little weak while cutting on the tree, resting for a few seconds, and then starting to cut again in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on January 12, 2025.
