The Oriental Psyche (Leptosia nina) or the psyche is a small butterfly, found in Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, and Australia. It has a black spot on its mainly white upper forewing and flies low over grass due to its weak flight. An Oriental Psyche butterfly was seen feeding on nectar from a zucchini flower in a forest at Tehatta, West Bengal, India on January 19, 2025.
