German Minister of Defence visits German soldiers stationed in Poland

German servicemen are operating a launcher of the MIM 104 Patriot surface-to-air defense system batteries during German Minister of Defence Boris Pistorius's visit to the German compound of the military training ground. The German Patriot defense systems are placed in Jasionka near Rzeszow, Poland, on January 23, 2025. The German army has two Patriot defense systems in Poland. Boris Pistorius is arriving in Poland to meet German military servicemen who are serving on NATO's Eastern Flank in Poland. The two ministers are also discussing the issue of European investments in defense in the face of the Russian threat.
