India Economy Flower Cultivation

Villagers are collecting marigolds and other flowers at their farmland in Basujote village area to sell them in the flower market in an agricultural field at Phansidewa village on the outskirts of Siliguri near the India-Bangladesh border area on February 21, 2025. Approximately 70 families are changing their cultivation process in this area, where they used to cultivate vegetables before, and are earning approximately Rs 25,000 per month after selling the flowers to the market area in Siliguri and nearby hills, including nearby states.
