A Lychas tricarinatus scorpion, also known as the three-keeled bark scorpion (a parthenogenetic scorpion), is having a distinctive nodule on its venom gland, which it is using for defense and hunting. One such scorpion is being spotted on a wall and floor inside a house at night in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on January 30, 2025.
