The Methan Mani clock tower is being seen from across the Padmatheertham pond near the historic Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, on April 09, 2024. The Methan Mani clock is being installed in the 1840s and is being constructed with a highly complex pulley system. The clock is having a unique appearance. Above the dial, the face of a bearded man with two rams on the side of his cheeks is being featured. When the clock strikes, the rams are hitting against the cheeks of the man. It is being installed in the 1840s during the reign of Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma.
