On the same day, the first two unmanned cargo tractors introduced by Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport completed the test on the apron, becoming the first batch of unmanned vehicles to enter the trial operation on the apron in East China, marking a new stage of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport in the construction of smart airports, and providing a practical example for the intelligent transformation of global civil aviation. According to the relevant staff of the airport, the unmanned cargo tractor can achieve safe and efficient operation in complex conditions and adverse weather tests, and meet the relevant requirements of the operation specifications of civil aviation airports. The unmanned cargo tractor can increase the efficiency of civil aviation cargo ground transportation by 20%, reduce operating costs by 15%, and achieve 100% operational accuracy. It is understood that the unmanned cargo tractor is based on the general autonomous driving technology stack U-Drive, and the body is equipped with multiple sensors such as Lidar, DGPS and cameras, which can achieve centimeter-level high-level accurate positioning. When driving, the vehicle can accurately perceive the surrounding environment, intelligently detect the position of the aircraft on the apron and automatically park and avoid collision, realizing multi-vehicle coordination, accurate docking and other functions to ensure the safety and reliability of the transportation process.
