Indian woman sets record for the longest hair in India and is out to claim the world record

Renu Dhariwal is growing her hair since 2015 and is receiving numerous awards and breaking several records with her hair length of 274.32 cm (9 feet). Now, Renu is setting her sights on breaking the Guinness World Record for Longest hair on a living person (female), with the current record holder being Aliia Nasyrova with a hair length of 257.33 cm (8 ft 5.3 in). Renu Dhariwal is setting a record in 2023 when her hair length is 265.17 cm (8 ft 7 in) for the longest hair in India. Renu's name is also being recorded in the India Book of Records (in 2020 when Renu's hair length is 95 inches), India Star Book of World Records (on June 20, 2023), and the Uttarakhand Book of Records (on December 19, 2020). She is winning numerous awards, including the Uttarakhand Icon Award in 2021 due to her impressive hair length. Renu is currently helping other women with hair and beauty tips on her two YouTube channels (MRDLonghairUttarakhand and M.R.DVlogsUttrakhand) where she is sharing advice and secrets, including how to make her chemical-free homemade hair oil and homemade shampoo.
