Left Democratic Manch Assam stage a protest against Citizenship

Activists of Left Democratic Manch Assam stage a protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016, in Guwahati,India  Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 .The Bill is aimed at making minority communities such as Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan eligible to apply for Indian citizenship.AASU along with other indigenious ethnic communities of the Northeast India have been protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Bill from 2016.
